Homemade Chocolate Sauce
It’s very easy to make this chocolate sauce at home. Hardly takes any time and lasts for days in the refrigerator. You can use it as a topping for cakes , muffins or icecreams, a filling for swirl breads or as an all-purpose dip for fruits or crackers.
Homemade Chocolate Sauce
Simple no-fuss chocolate sauce!
Ingredients
- 200 ml Milk
- ½ cup Sugar
- 4 tsp Butter
- 5 tbsp + 1 tsp Cocoa Powder (16 tsp Cocoa Powder)
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
- Mix sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl, ensuring there are no lumps.
- Add milk and butter in a saucepan and heat over medium flame, till the butter melts.
- Whisk in the sugar and cocoa mix, a little at a time, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps.
- Cook over medium flame for 5-6 minutes. Keep stirring!
- Once the mixture thickens, turn off the heat and whisk in vanilla extract and salt.
- Allow to cool and then refrigerate in an airtight container!
